In January 1943 the author's company had only 6 fit men left out of the original four hundred. In the siege of Imphal 250,000 Indian and British soldiers were cut off for nearly three months. He recounts the unfolding of the campaign fought on five fronts. Illustrated with B&W photographs. 145pp. Size: 8vo Large Post (8¼" x 5")
