Ogri Vol. IV - SAMPLE, PaulJohn Brown Publishing, 1996, Hardback ..
Condition: Very Good. Boards unevenly faded. Internally bright and clean.
Ogri has been entertaining and influencing motorcycle enthusiasts since 1972. The character was created by Paul Sample in the late 60's and still appears as a regular full-page cartoon strip in Bike magazine. With a little help from his friends (Mitzi, the vivacious biker beauty; Malcolm, the dim accident-prone sidekick; and Kickstart, the cheeky car-hating dog), Ogri experiences the ups and downs of biking in unexpurgated graphic glory (black ice, diesel spillage, manhole covers, caravans, trucks, taxis, pubs, police and politicians). Most of all, Ogri illustrates the mysterious, obsessive passion that lies between rider and machine (and he's also quite funny). This is the fourth volume of an occasional on-going anthology. Illustrated / decorative end papers. 64pp. Size: 4to Demy (11" x 8½")
