My Sad Pharoahs - J. BevanRoutledge & Kegan Pau, 1968, Hardback in Dustwrapper..
Condition: Very Good - in Very Good DJ. Slightest wear at edges of DJ. Corners and spine very gently bumped.
Most of these poems were written in the sixties, but some go back more than a decade. The changing tone of the poetry suggests a change in the author's spiritual geography as the poems progress. But the changes take place in another kind of sequence - they repeat the same phases, like the moon and the seasons, and these poems indicate the phases of Jack Bevan's creative cycle.
