Of Ants & Men - Caryl P. HaskinsGeorge Allen & Unwin, 1947, Hardback in Dustwrapper..
Condition: Good - in Poor DJ. DJ very tatty, worn at edges with many tears and loss. Bumped at head & tail of spine and corners.
Having for a long time, as a fascinating diversion, observed the social lives of ants, the author decided that a popular book about certain phases of their lives would be of interest to others. His long acquaintanceship with living ants led him strongly to the feeling that in the superficial parallels between their social lives and ours there may lie a somewhat deeper and more significance than we commonly realize. The illustrations are of particular interest.Illustrated with B&W photographs.
