A Georgian Love Story - Ernest RaymondCassel, 1971, Hardback in Dust Wrapper.
Condition: Very Good - in Very Good DJ. A little wear at edges of DJ, spine slightly discoloured.
The scene is set in the Edwardian and Georgian years. Mr Augustus O'Murry, chief editor of an old and failing publishing firm, lives in a large house in the respectable Hollen Hill. But his son, Stewart, being young, longs to know what goes on in the disreputable area of Hollen Dene, only a few streets away. In his search for the unknown here he finds himself following a seductive girl whom he suspects to be one of the very young prostitutes for whom the neighbourhood is notorious. He follows her into a tobacconist's shop, and here the first of many great surprises awaits him. This chance acquaintance develops unexpectedly into a deep love.
