The whole purchase cost (incl. two-way shipping & handling) will be refunded if listing is inaccurate or shipment is damaged. Returns need to be authorized prior to their shipment within 14 days of your receipt. Books must be returned in the same condition as received, return shipments must be insured.
We maintain most books in our store in protective mylar cover. All books are packaged with great care, shipments will be insured. Shipping per Fedex, UPS, Media Mail (default) or Priority Mail. Special size or heavy books might carry an additional handling charge.
International shipments are sent with complete customs documentation. Activities and payments associated with customs, taxes, or the import of a shipment into the buyer''s country are the buyer''s responsiblity
Guarantee:
Consistent with the policies and Code of Ethics of the Universal Autograph Collectors Club (UACC), Books Tell You Why guarantees the authenticity of autographed items for the lifetime of the original purchaser, i.e., Books Tell You Why will provide a full refund of the original purchasing price incl. two-way shipping at any time where lack of authenticity can be proven and where proof of purchase is supplied by the original purchaser.
Payment:
We accept credit cards (Amex, Visa, MC) direct or trough Google Checkout, PayPal, or MoneyBookers, we further accept Google Checkout or PayPal payments, Money Orders, and Checks (we will hold your shipment until your check is cleared, typically 7 business days). Please send PayPal or MoneyBookers payments to Payments@BooksTellYouWhy.com. PayPal orders will be shipped only to confirmed SHIP TO: addresses. Please contact PayPal to verify confirmed shipping addresses. Your order is subject to cancellation if your shipping address is NOT confirmed.
Credit card orders require a valid billing address. Large credit card orders from new customers might require a mail or fax copy of a valid picture identification with matching address.
